Terms and Conditions
1. About Plik
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Plik website, mobile applications, software, customer support channels and related technology services ("Platform"). The Platform is operated by Rituar Business Solution ("Rituar", "Plik", "we", "us" or "our").
"Customer", "you" or "your" means any person who accesses the Platform, creates an account, requests a service, makes a booking, communicates with a provider or otherwise uses the Platform.
2. Platform role
Unless a booking expressly states otherwise, Plik acts as a technology and facilitation platform connecting customers with independent service professionals, businesses or third-party providers ("Providers"). Plik may facilitate discovery, scheduling, communication, payments, support, reviews and other administrative functions.
A Provider may be an independent contractor, business, specialist or other third party. A Provider is not automatically an employee, agent, partner or joint venturer of Rituar merely because the Provider is listed or made available through Plik.
3. Service relationship
For marketplace services, the substantive service is supplied by the applicable Provider. The Provider remains responsible for performing the booked service in accordance with the booking, applicable law and the Provider's professional obligations. Where Plik itself supplies a service, the booking page will identify Plik/Rituar as the service provider.
4. Eligibility and account
You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You must not create an account using another person's identity or use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful purposes.
5. Booking and price
A booking is formed when the Platform confirms the requested service, subject to availability and any service-specific conditions shown before confirmation. Prices, taxes, convenience/platform fees, materials, travel charges, cancellation charges and other applicable amounts will be displayed where reasonably practicable before payment or confirmation.
6. Provider availability and changes
Service availability depends on location, Provider availability, operational conditions and other factors. We may cancel, reschedule or reassign a booking where reasonably necessary, including Provider unavailability, safety concerns, technical failures, force majeure or suspected fraud. Where applicable, we will provide a refund or alternative remedy in accordance with the booking terms and applicable law.
7. Customer complaints
Customers should report service issues through Plik support within the period stated for the relevant service. We may request photographs, invoices, booking details, communications or other reasonable evidence so that the issue can be investigated. A complaint review does not constitute an admission of liability by Plik or Rituar.
8. No guarantee of outcomes
Descriptions, estimated durations, photographs, ratings and Provider profiles are provided to help customers make informed choices. Unless expressly stated, Plik does not guarantee a particular result, uninterrupted availability, exact arrival time, compatibility with undisclosed conditions, or that a Provider will meet a subjective expectation.
9. Customer and property risk
You must disclose material facts relevant to safe performance of a service and provide safe and lawful access where required. Plik and/or a Provider may refuse or stop a service where the premises, person, equipment, conduct or requested work creates an unreasonable safety, legal or operational risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rituar's liability arising solely from the operation of the Platform will be limited to the amount actually paid by you to Rituar for the specific booking giving rise to the claim during the relevant transaction. For marketplace services, claims concerning the quality, workmanship, professional advice, negligence or performance of the service should ordinarily be directed to the Provider responsible for that service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability to the extent such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by applicable law, including liability that cannot lawfully be disclaimed under consumer-protection or other mandatory legislation.
11. Indirect losses
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plik/Rituar will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or purely economic losses arising from Platform downtime, delay, loss of opportunity or Provider conduct, except where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Rituar against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Platform, fraud, wilful misconduct, breach of these Terms, misuse of another person's information, or damage caused by your conduct or property, except to the extent caused by Rituar's own legally attributable fault.
13. Reviews and content
You grant Plik a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display reviews, ratings, photographs and other content you submit for operating, improving and promoting the Platform, subject to applicable privacy and data-protection requirements. You must not submit unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing or abusive content.
14. Suspension
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, Providers, the Platform or legal compliance, including suspected fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, non-payment or material breach.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer right or statutory remedy available to a consumer. Where legally permitted, the parties may first attempt good-faith resolution through Plik's grievance/support process before pursuing other remedies.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, technology, law or business operations. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
