Consent to Use Data

Important: Consent should be specific and understandable. Where a processing purpose does not legally require consent, Plik may rely on another lawful basis where available rather than presenting every processing activity as consent-based.

Service consent

By requesting a service, you authorise Plik and the relevant Provider to process the information reasonably necessary to identify you, schedule the service, provide access/location details, communicate about the booking, process payment and handle support or complaints.

Safety and quality

You may be asked to provide photographs, videos or other information relevant to a service or complaint. Such information may be shared with the relevant Provider, support personnel, insurers, professional advisers or other authorised parties where necessary to investigate, resolve or prevent service issues.

Analytics and improvement

Plik may use appropriately protected or aggregated information to analyse demand, service performance, fraud patterns, user experience and Platform reliability, subject to applicable law.

Marketing consent

If you separately opt in to marketing, you consent to receiving promotional communications from Plik through permitted channels. Marketing consent may be withdrawn through available unsubscribe or preference controls.

Third-party service consent

Where a third party is required to perform a requested service, you authorise the disclosure of information reasonably necessary for that service, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
